The paper today is saying that Vodafone will be increasing their prices next month.
I thought I'd share that I got a price reduction last week by calling up Vodafone:
My contract was up and my plan was about to increase from €45 to €70. However I told Vodafone that I got a €30 a month Sky Broadband offer (https://onebigswitch.ie/campaigns/obsie-221004-broadband-sky/plans/results) and that I would be leaving unless Vodafone could come close to matching it
Vodafone agreed to give me another year at the promotional rate (€45) that I was on.
I could've paid €300 more over the next year if I'd not made that 10 minutes call. A quick call is all it takes.
I need good internet for working from home and didn't want the disruption of changing. Otherwise I would've saved more by moving to Sky or Eir who have a good deal at the moment too.
