95% off Irish cinemas offering cheap tickets (from €4) for National Cinema Day this Saturday (2nd September)

Over 95% of Irish cinemas are participating in National Cinema Day this Saturday 2nd September. 

Most cinemas are offering €4 tickets (booking fees may also apply at some cinemas).

To avail of the cheap tickets, book tickets online as per usual. Once you select your film and choose Saturday 2nd September as the date, you should see that the ticket prices are automatically at the reduced rate. 

We tested it out for two cinemas - for Omniplex the tickets worked out at €4 each, while the Oden worked out at €5 (€4 + €1 online booking fee) each.

Participating cinemas include Arc Cinemas, Carrick Cineplex, Century Cinemas, Cineworld, Eclipse Cinemas, Eye Cinema, Gate Cinemas, IFI Cinemas, IMC Cinemas, Light House Cinema, Movies@ Cinemas, Odeon Cinemas, Omniplex Cinemas, Pálás Cinema, Reel Cinemas, and Vue Cinemas. Many  local cinemas are also particapating.
